I did bikram and a hatha yoga class today, and… fairly well in foods? Got the munchies while preparing my dad’s dinner again, but all in all a day to be proud of. Class is harder than it was before my two-month sabbatical, to be sure, but then I can also feel that there is still strength in my body.
Can I put to the universe this question: how do I keep myself from munching when it’s become a routine?

Creamy Broccoli-White Bean Soup
(via we-work-out)
I just made these muffins, based very closely on this recipe, and they were so stunning I wanted to write down the recipe to reuse for later!
Ingredients:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray the muffin tins once with Pam, set aside. In a big bowl, gently mix all remaining ingredients. Divide into the tins and bake for 15 minutes. EAT AWESOME.

Today was… not great, but no great disaster, either. Period + MAJOR soreness after not having used those muscles in a while meant I felt bad for myself and sat on my ass all day, plus my ankle was also sore so I didn’t want to just walk it off, either.
Ah, well. I have discovered a meal-replacing protein bar that I absolutely adore, though!
